Troubleshooting

App isn’t functioning, not loading, white screen, etc on a Mobile app

-Swipe out of app and reopen

-Log out of app and log back in

-Restart your phone

-You can always check to make sure that the app is updated 

-Deleting the app and reinstalling can also help, you won’t lose any information with any of these tips

-Work on mygoally.com parent desktop portal


Icons aren’t loading from the app, I think I hit my limit

-There is no limit on the icons. 

-You more than likely need to refresh the app

-If you have lots of icons and routines, your app has lots of data that it is loading


Wifi

-Confirm that wifi is connected on the Goally

-Confirm that the top right box of airplane mode doesn’t say ‘airplane mode enabled’

-Restart your router

-Check your router to see if the Goally is connected or if it is stuck

-Try a hotspot and see if your Goally will work then


Battery is Low

-Keep Goally plugged in each night.

-Plug in after each routine

-If you are running more than a 30 minute routine, keep plugged in where you can

-Have a set docking station so you always know where to find Goally to confirm it is plugged in

-When traveling with your Goally, bring a charger for your car

-Some families have also opted to use portable batteries when out and about


My Parent changes aren’t connecting to the Goally

-Confirm that the goally and phone are both connected to wifi. 

-If they are, then they can communicate each time a change is made. 

-If they aren’t connected, they won’t update changes until they are both connected to wifi again.


My Goally won’t connect to wifi in some places

-Try a personal hotspot from your cell phone. 

How can I easily change the sounds, volume and brightness

-Make sure that you have enabled child to edit settings, in your parent app settings

-Open the Settings icon on the Goally

-Scroll through sounds, brightness and volume
