Alexandra Hakeem

Alexandra has been working with children with a variety of comorbities for 8 years. In 2014, Alexandra acquired her Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education with an Emphasis in Mathematics. As a preschool and kindergarten teacher at the Boys and Girls Club, her passion working with children with a variety of comorbities and demographics inspired her to go into Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2018, Alexandra acquired her Masters Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Instruction and Curriculum of Applied Behavior Analysis, and officially became a BCBA by passing the BCBA certification exam in November 2019. As a BCBA, she has supervised staff and implemented evidenced based practices for children with autism between the ages of 11 months old to 13 years old. She specializes in Early Intensive Behavioral Interventions (EIBI) model, Transition Readiness Programs, and Intensive Support Programs specifically through Precision Teaching methods. 

Alexandra worked at an ABA center-based company for 4 years. She started with this company in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and transferred to Englewood, Colorado to help expand a new location. She has trained over 50 new and current staff the ins and outs of Precision Teaching over the course of 3 years. Alexandra contributed to the growth of the new center by not only providing supervision as a BCBA but helped mentor and guide new hires as well as contributed to building the parent training department. Outside of her professional life Alexandra Hakeem helps to care for her cousin who was diagnosed with PDD NOS Autism Spectrum Disorder Level 2 and Vitiligo. In her free time, Alexandra enjoys snowboarding, volunteer work, and hanging out with her nieces and nephews.
