Hello, this is the second part of our reading lesson. Are you all ready for some more long vowel? Do you remember we learned about the difference between the long and the short vowel sounds? That the long vowel says its own name. Yesterday, we learned that 'a' can say /a/ as an apron. "E" as in /e/ can say 'eagle'. "I" can say /i/ as in 'ice'.
Today, we are adding 'o' and /o/ can say 'ocean' and 'u' can say /u/ as in 'uniform'.
